A set of cotton jacquard tapestry that explores the collision between rituals, crafts, and emerging technology. The tapestries are compositions of procedural graphics juxtaposing the tactility of woven jacquard, forming diagrammatic prayers of auspiciousness and blessings.

The Graphic was composed with computer-generated charms and sigils, questioning the legitimacy of established spiritual authorities and the possibility of digitization in our predicated future.

Sequence Giftshop is an art collective exploring modes of collaboration through designed goods and independent publishing. Each season, we work alongside friends to create unique objects to gift. Through making and gifting, we exercise the gesture of care as a collective.

With a particular interest in art and media critique, we publish printed editions highlighting ideas, stories, and research projects from the East Asian community.

I’m the co-proprietor of SGS, and currently running it with my two partners Rui and Yi. In 2024, we’ve made 4 books, designed 6 objects, hosted 2 workshops, collaborated with 7 artists, designed 10+ prints, and showcased in 4 art book fairs.

An Altar is Wherever You Kneel is a 5-channel video installation on sprituality and technology. It is a discovery of self, fields, invisible forces and shapes. The research begins with a study of value systems that demonstrate the power of spirituality and an introspection of a physical body navigating in a field of vows (愿力场), hybird or real. It slowly evolves to a constellation of work intersecting spiritual ideologies, system diagramming, and computer graphic techniques.        Medium

Lettering work for GILA and Kloxii’s music video NANAO.

‘NANAO’ is a rumination on unrequited love, dreaming of finding common ground but soon realizing you are stuck, alone and vulnerable.

The music video is a haunting tale of two lovers who find themselves drowning in toxic cycles of entanglement and codependency. Inspired by the ancient Chinese mythological book ‘The Classic of Mountains and Seas’ (山海经 ~300 B.C.), two dancers portray ‘MANMAN’(蛮蛮) a mythical beast formed of two conjoined one-eyed birds. As the video spirals, the two halves undergo a violent process of merging with flashes of fleeting intimacy and tenderness.

Nike Swim emerges as a liquid manifesto, where water binds the raw pulse of individuality—the 2023 virtual campaign channeling its flow into a fearless collection, from Fit, Competitive, and Icon, into a singular, unrelenting current of form and function.

This project was created in 2021, with a forward-looking statement in mind: “The past two years have been a blur of immersion in pixels and screens. It feels as though the digital world has taken over the real. As we emerge from this pandemic, we realize the flow between our two worlds, with water as the constant. Join us in a journey of playful discovery through our new reality.”

Neura Futures is a research-based creative-tech project lead by Dr. Nataliya Kosmyna in MIT Media Lab. It explores the multitute of brain-computer interface devices — weather speculative or soon-to-become-real, through a comprehensive research, from science to science fiction, of 450+ books, papers, movies, and TV shows in total.

Researching from 100+ scenarios, use cases, form-factors of some of the most futuristic systems imagined by humans over the past 500 years, we bring to life 70+ real life model of BCI devices that people had imagined in popular culture, trying to answer the one urging question — How far is too far?

During my time there, I played around with BCI devices, made art projects with them, curated 3 art exhibitions, created an on-site installation, designed exhibition collaterals, and re-branded the graphic.
